Here's a few photos of when we went out to my parent's in Fallon. Iris' first time on a horse.

I've been busy keeping track of Aspen and Iris now. It's been fun. They play really well together and only pull each other's hair once in a while. It's been good for Iris to learn to share her toys.

We got about 6 inches of snow last night. I was just getting used to the 50-60 degree weather. Going for walks in the afternoon is out now. I guess we'll just have to build a snowman.

We were able to photograph at an event put on by the Worth the Wait Foundation, which gets kids to pledge that they will not have sex until they are married. I think it is a wonderful thing they are doing. They invited all these kids and their families to a Purity Ball. We took family and couple pictures similar to what you get at a prom and also just some candid shots of the event. It was very nice and we wanted to thank Mechele for allowing us to be there.

Speaking of proms, we are the official photographers of North Valleys High School Junior/Senior Prom. Wow! We are pretty excited and nervous at the same time. It will help us decide if proms is something that we want to get into. Anyone that is willing to come help us out, it is on April 19th.

Another week

Here are a few of the pictures we took for a Save the Date announcement and some engagement photos.

I've decided to help out my friend Rebecca and start watching her little girl, Aspen, during the week. Aspen is 2 weeks older than Iris. It's going to be fun. They play really well together and can teach each other things. Aspen is already crawling all over the place so maybe she can show Iris the ropes.

Happy Sunday

Yesterday Evan took some engagement pictures for a couple getting married in March. They were really cute, as you can see. We also booked a wedding for a couple that lives out in Cold Springs. Very nice people.

Iris is feeling better. We are going to the blessing of my cousin Jim and his wife, Kelly's twins today. So Iris will get to see some of her relatives, some for the first time.

Last night, Evan had the great idea of going to Barnes and Noble and hanging out for a while. I could spend hours in bookstores. We looked at all kinds of books but all we bought were two calenders that were on sale. The best time to buy calenders if after January is over. But I really do love looking at books. I remember getting gift card to Barnes and Noble once and had the hardest time deciding which books to get with it.

We've had a couple invites to some Super Bowl parties, but we are probably going to do something with the family. We'll see how it goes.

Where did January go?

I can't believe it is February. And 2008!?! Blows me away to think that next year will be my ten year reunion. Where did that time go? Yesterday was my dad's birthday, hope he had a good night.

Iris hasn't been sleeping good the past two nights. We think it's because of teething. She a bit of a fever but during the day is fine. You feel so helpless when they can't tell you why they hurt and how to fix it. Teething Bites!
