I apologize

I know it's been a really really long time since I put anything new on here and for that I apologize, but I am working on a lot of good stuff. This has been a really good wedding season so far and we are going to be busy for a while still, but I am going to try and get some new stuff on here soon. So stay tuned.

Update Overload

I know it's been a long time since I put anything on here so I'm gonna take some time and put a bunch of pictures on. We've been pretty busy, which is a really good thing. Wedding season is getting into full swing and then we had a prom in the middle of it all so we've been a little crazy around here. Well here goes.

Family Blog

We decided to start a blog just for our family stuff so if you are interested in that you can go to the Zinser Family Blog link and see more pictures of Iris and us. This blog is going to have mainly photos from the business. Let me know what you think.
We took more beautiful engagement photos. Here are a few of the first couple, Brent and Katie. They had their daughter and dogs with them. So much fun!!

The next couple is Johnny and Tina. Evan is getting famous for his "sun" pictures and gets requests for them.

The wedding season is picking up. This Saturday is basically our last free weekend of the summer, with a few exceptions. But that's the way we like it.

Marching through March

So I've been putting this off for a while because we have quite a bit to talk about. We were able to take some photos for an author named Suzanne Morgan Williams. She just wrote a new book that will be coming out soon. You can view her website at www.suzannemorganwilliams.com. She is the Regional Advisor for the Sierra Nevada Region of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. You can see that website at www.nevadascbwi.com.

We also had a wedding on the 1st of March at Lakeridge Golf Course. Evan and Gavin photographed. Ryan and Kaly are the groom and bride.

We also had the chance to photograph our little friend London. He's one of those strong silent types. Beautiful blue eyes. What a cutie!

Iris has started pulling herself up on things and she can really scoot around pretty good. She crawled a little bit the other day but prefers scooting. She is trying to clap and when I see her do it and start clapping myself, she stops to watch me.

We got a new puppy!! She is adorable. Evan has been wanting a chocolate lab for some time now and it worked out that when we went to meet my dad at Sportsman's Wearhouse the other day, there was a man selling some there. So we bought her and have already fell in love with her. Evan named her Roxy. She is so sweet and calm. She gets along great with Rowdy and the cats and Iris loves her. So now we have two dogs, two cats, a duck and a chicken.

Here's a few photos of when we went out to my parent's in Fallon. Iris' first time on a horse.

I've been busy keeping track of Aspen and Iris now. It's been fun. They play really well together and only pull each other's hair once in a while. It's been good for Iris to learn to share her toys.

We got about 6 inches of snow last night. I was just getting used to the 50-60 degree weather. Going for walks in the afternoon is out now. I guess we'll just have to build a snowman.

We were able to photograph at an event put on by the Worth the Wait Foundation, which gets kids to pledge that they will not have sex until they are married. I think it is a wonderful thing they are doing. They invited all these kids and their families to a Purity Ball. We took family and couple pictures similar to what you get at a prom and also just some candid shots of the event. It was very nice and we wanted to thank Mechele for allowing us to be there.

Speaking of proms, we are the official photographers of North Valleys High School Junior/Senior Prom. Wow! We are pretty excited and nervous at the same time. It will help us decide if proms is something that we want to get into. Anyone that is willing to come help us out, it is on April 19th.

Another week

Here are a few of the pictures we took for a Save the Date announcement and some engagement photos.

I've decided to help out my friend Rebecca and start watching her little girl, Aspen, during the week. Aspen is 2 weeks older than Iris. It's going to be fun. They play really well together and can teach each other things. Aspen is already crawling all over the place so maybe she can show Iris the ropes.
